All our merchandise are shipped out via UPS ground except for some small leather goods. Expedited shipping is available thru USPS priority (1-3 business days) and Express shipment is available thru USPS express mail (1-2 business depending on location). All international shipping are shipped out thru USPS express mail.
- All UPS shipments are only delivered during the 5 day business week. There are no deliveries on Saturdays or Sundays.
- DesignersCentralStore ships Monday through Friday.
- For Standard Shipment (UPS ground): Order Date + Transit Time (1-2 business days) + Shipping Time (1 - 7 days business)
- For USPS Priority Mail (Expedited Shipment): Order Date + Transit Time (1-2 business day) + Shipping time(2 - 3 business days)
- For USPS Next Day: Order Date + Transit Time (1-2 business day ) + Shipping time (1-2 business day): Depending on location.
Order Delivery:
Orders shipped out via UPS or USPS may require a signature for delivery. If no one is home to receive the package, your local UPS or USPS driver may leave the item at your doorstep area or the driver may hold onto the package for a second delivery attempt. If you know in advance that you will not be home to personally receive the package, you may leave a signed note for the UPS or USPS driver to make alternative arrangements.
Shipping Problems:
On the rare occasion that an item is received damaged or not received at all, UPS or USPS must conduct an investigation. Please contact DesignersCentralStore to initiate a package investigation as soon as possible. Do not discard the original shipping carton, as the carrier may want to inspect it. UPS or USPS claims usually take about two-three weeks to process. If UPS or USPS claims responsibility for the loss or damage of your order, insurance reimbursement will be issued to DesignersCentralStore and a replacement item will be shipped out to you. If that item is no longer available, we will refund your payment.
Incorrect Shipping Address Provided:
Packages that are returned because of an incorrect address provided by the customer will be subject to additional shipping charges. When we receive the package in our warehouse, we will issue a credit to the original credit card for the purchase price less the actual shipping cost. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged shipping under a free shipping promotion. Requests for packages to be shipped again will be subject to actual shipping charges. The purpose of this is to avoid unnecessary shipping costs and to allow us to offer the lowest prices possible.
Refusal of Delivery:
If a package is refused for delivery, the customer will be responsible for actual shipping charges incurred by DesignersCentralStore. Once we receive the package back in our warehouse, we will issue a credit to the original credit card for the purchase price less the actual shipping cost of shipping the package to you. This shipping charge will apply even if you were not originally charged shipping under a free shipping promotion (if applied). The purpose of this is to avoid unnecessary shipping costs and to allow us to offer the lowest prices possible. This does not apply to packages that appear to be damaged in shipping.
Item Problems:
If the item you receive is not what was ordered, is defective, or is just not what you wanted, please contact DesignersCentralStore within 3 days. The sooner we are contacted the quicker and easier the process will be. Also, please make sure you are familiar with our return policy.
International Shipping and Custom:
DesignersCentralStore now offer worldwide shipping. All international orders are accepted via Checkout by Amazon and ships USPS express.
International buyers are responsible for paying all import duty, tax, and fee which may be collected by their country when the parcel arrives. To avoid misunderstanding, we declare the exact purchase price as the value of the goods when completing the customs declaration. Due to insurance purpose we will not be able to check the "gift" box nor under declare the value.
Tax:
DesignersCentralStore collecting sales tax on items shipped to destinations within the California. If an item is subject to sales tax to which the order is shipped, tax is generally calculated on the total selling price of each individual item (s/h is excluded). The tax rate applied to your order will generally be the combined state and local rate for the address where your order was shipped. Therefore, the sales tax rate applied to your order may be different for an order shipped to your home address than it is for an order for the very same items shipped to your work address.
